Alexander Chen turns Vignelli’s subway map into a beautiful video art piece as an “interactive string instrument.”
The whole video is lovely but I take issue with it because it doesn’t capture the awful feeling of riding the L train for 55 minutes for a 20 minute ride after a weekend of closed trains in between two bearded men with pungent body odor.
